Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Finally the much awaited and the biggest movie of the year has hit the theaters.

The successful team of DDLJ and Mohabbatein is all set to re-create the same magic after a hiatus.

Were you one of those lucky few who managed to watch Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi the first day? What did you think about the movie? Write your review here!

Bollywood movie ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’, which stars Shah Rukh Khan, has made it to the top ten of the weekend UK box office.

The film is currently at the seventh position in the list, which has been topped by Teen vampire movie ‘Twilight’.

‘Twilight’, the film about a girl who falls in love with a vampire, took 2.5 million pounds, beating animated comedy ‘Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa’ into second place.

Seasonal comedy ‘Four Christmases’ stayed in third place, while sci-fi remake 'The Day The Earth Stood Still,' starring Keanu Reeves, fell from top spot to fourth.

Animated adventure 'The Tale of Despereaux,' featuring the voices of Dustin Hoffman, Matthew Broderick and Emma Watson, rounded off the top five.

The top ten are:

1. Twilight

2. Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

3. Four Christmases

4. The Day The Earth Stood Still

5. The Tale of Despereaux

6. Inkheart

7. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

8. Changeling

9. Quantum of Solace

10. Transporter 3

Rab ne Bana Di Jodi is truly awesome and has got so much of depth to it. The tag line of the movie goes "There is an Extra Ordinary Love Story in every Jodi".... which is catchy, funny and has a romantic feel to it.

Although most of us were expecting Shah rukh Khan romancing Anushka Sharma in Switzerland in the first poster, the teaser is different and good too! It now makes us wonder what the story actually could be. Shahrukh is seen wearing a faded shirt, with a bad pair of trousers and completely awful shoes... probably his worst on-screen look till date. But we do know that he's got another dashing look in the movie which we can't wait to see.

Ghajini

Ghajini - The biggest ever Hindi blockbuster

The Aamir Khan - Asin action romantic musical Ghajini has turned out to be the biggest ever Hindi blockbuster in Kerala.

The film which released on Christmas day in 26 screens across Kerala has netted a gargantuan Rs 50.35 lakhs in its opening four day weekend (December 25 to 28).

In Kochi it opened in two screens Saritha and Sridhar, and both reported record openings.

The Asin craze and being the first Mallu girl to be making it huge in Bollywood has enabled the film to garner such a huge opening.

Asin is on a high after the success of the Ghajini

she is already a big name having won the Best Actress Award for two films. She is still a new face in Bollywood. But actress Asin is on a high after the success of the Ghajini.

The actress says she was offered several roles in Bollywood movies before Ghajini, but she found Ghajini a perfect project to start with. Now that the film is doing a good job at the box office, Asin is hoping that the movie surpasses all previous records.

Having worked for both Tamil and Hindi Ghajini opposite different lead actors, Asin finds a lot of similarities in the way Surya and Aamir Khan function. She says both are extremely dedicated professionals but the ways they approached the character of Sanjay in Ghajini are very different.
